Pool, alfresco and garden in detail
The pool is 9.45 m long and 4.40 m wide, lined in green-grey marble that turns the water emerald by day and black at night. The black marble coping is flush with the deck, and the long east side overflows into a hidden channel towards the palm garden. Two underwater lights and a dozen uplit palms make the evening swim.
The alfresco is a 10.5 m by 5.1 m covered terrace facing the pool: a bar with stools on the kitchen side, a lounge in grey woven resin with white cushions, a dining area, two ceiling fans and pendant globes. Next to it, a sunken lounge with built-in benches sits 90 cm below the deck. At the south end of the pool, a raised sun deck holds two loungers, a parasol and a daybed.
Between the bedroom wing and the pool runs a planted strip of grasses and agaves with square stepping stones, so each bedroom reaches the water through its own little garden. The plot is fully walled and gated, with lawn on the west and north sides.

- Is the pool heated?
- The pool is not heated. In the north of Mauritius the water stays between 24 and 29 °C all year, which is warm enough for most people even in July and August.
- Is the pool safe for children?
- The pool has no fence. It is 1.4 m deep with no shallow end, so children must be watched at all times. We can arrange a removable safety fence on request.
